About Member Management System (MMS)

MMS is a web-based solution for labor unions that can run over the World Wide Web or a local intranet. Key features of the system include:

• Runs in common web browsers, including Internet Explorer 6, Firefox 1, and Netscape 8. Minimal client requirements allow the application to run on a wide variety of computers.
• After login, all communication is encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), the same encryption-type used by banks and online merchants doing business over the World Wide Web. Leader uses SSL certificates from VeriSign for maximum browser compatibility.
• If accessed over the Web, application can be available for access from employees' homes 24 hours a day.
• All data is stored on a multi-volume database server using RAID technology for data integrity and backup.
